Amended RequestW

When I asked for prayer that beds be open for Lucy I think I left off a very important part of that request.  Please pray that a bed would be open for Lucy not solely for the purpose of her receiving treatment but rathr that a bed  or beds be open due to some child or children getting well enough to be discharged.  It's so easy to get totally engrossed in my own problems and honestly I think that is just natural.  However, living the life of a St. Jude mom it only takes one Craing Bridge post, email, or text message to snap me back to reality.

We families bond together.  Complete strangers throwm into similar life circumstances that only we can understand.  Friends and relatives do their best but only those that walk those haunting halls of St. Jude everyday truly know what its like to have a child with cancer.

Lucy needs prayers, they all need prayers. Thank you in advance.

  1. Praying for you guys and hoping today is the day for Lucy. It's funny you mentioned that about praying kids will be well enough to leave and that being the reason a room opens up for Lucy and other kids, that has been my exact prayer. If you need anything please call me:) Hopefully we are leaving the hospital today, Josiah thankfully is doing GREAT!! Praising God for his mercy and blessings today.

  3. Absolutely! It's so heartbreaking to hear that SO many beds are being used & needed. One child fighting cancer is too many. You & all the other families have an army of prayer warriors behind you. God's blessings

  4. Praying! I have to say my first thought after your previous post was "how sad there are so many fighting this awful cancer that there is a wait for beds!"

    So many prayers...

  6. I am praying for your dear daughter and family. We donate every month to St. Jude's. My middle daughter does also and toured the facility when she drove cross country from Reno, Nevada to South Carolina where she now lives. God bless you and your family.
