Kate, I began following your blog when a friend from church posted the link on her facebook page and asked for prayer for your family. It's been such a joy to follow your journey and go before the Father to pray for Lucy. This picture of her is just beautiful. I'm so glad she is doing well! I will continue to pray for her and for your family. Have a wonderful Christmas!
I have never commented before, but I just wanted to let you know that my 3 year old daughter, Arden, is praying for your sweet Lucy. As a mommy, I cannot begin to imagine what your family has gone through over the past year. I know Lucy has made awesome strides--Praise God!--but we are still fighting for her as your prayer warriors. I am moved to tears every time I read your blog and I feel like your family is part of ours. Please know that you have a special prayer warrior in my little Arden :)
I am a faithful follower of Lucy's. Although I check it every day sometimes more than once I don't leave comments like I should. First of all, I am so glad she is doing better. I know she is having some set backs but that's okay. She has been a warrior all this time, she will continue. I pray that she will continue to improve every day so that she gains her weight back. I had to play catch up yesterday because I wasn't sure when y'all were coming back from Disney and so I had a few days to catch up on. I had to wait and pray about it because I was FURIOUS about the person commenting about y'all going to Disney. YOUR FAMILY DOES DESERVE IT. She obviously has not walked in your shoes or had anyone close to her walk in stupid cancer shoes. My niece was a patient at St. Jude so I know the every minute worry you go through. I really hope you have not allowed her to steal your joy for a minute. I am excited to hear about the trip and I hope it was everything you dreamed it would be. I pray that your family has the best Christmas ever. God bless your family. Pepper Glenn
