Family Fun Night

Since Lucy's illness, we have really had to slow our lives down.  I mean REALLY slow down.  And, imagine this, we are loving it.  We look forward to our Friday nights at home.  The girls pretty much declare Friday night movie night, even if that just means watching a little Disney channel before bed.  I forget about dishes, laundry and other chores that need to be done and we just snuggle on the couch or play games, or whatever the girls choose.

Jack gets outside time with Daddy...

Last Friday, Ella planted seeds that she picked out with Daddy...

Lucy practiced being a little mommy...

 And so did Ella...

Lucy and Daddy made cookies (I just take pictures apparently)...

 (look at that hair!)

And Ella practiced her organizational skills (she IS my daughter)....

  4. Hi Again,

After I sent the last message, it dawned on me I never did receive a reply when I last asked this early so I thought I'd try again.

I don't mean to bother you Kate but I was wondering if the kids got the Christmas package I sent down before Christmas? I hope the sizes were okay. I realized I pick sizes a little bigger but I hope they weren't too BIG!!!

I was also wondering if Lucy got her "Hi" card & you got your "Faith" stone? Kate, The ONLY reason I want to know if you guys did recieve them is b/c I was planning on sending Lucy a Valentine's Day card so I want to make sure I'm sending them to the right address.

Kate, I KNOW you're busy but if you could PLEASE just even hit reply & either put Yes or No I would REALLY, REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!!

    Take Care,

    Jenn from Canada

Of course I haven't met that sweet girl in person, but just seeing the pictures, it looks like she's really perking up...her color, that beautiful smile, and a sparkle in those fabulously blue eyes! I'm glad y'all are getting to have some "down time" and just hang out as a family...precious times. Your faith, your family, Lucy, and of course our Awesome God continue to amaze me : ) Y'all are such a blessing to SO many people...you just can't even imagine!

  11. I am so thankful to see the "good days" outweighing the other days in your life these days. I am continuing to pray daily for your family. And yes, I did see her hair growing. That is another reminder that healing is taking place in Lucy's body. Keep enjoying your sweet family as these days go by. Our God is so awesome. Love, Pat Williams, a grandmother in Tuscaloosa
