What I Do......

And don't do.  These days I don't Pinterest, I don't sew or craft, I don't blog stalk and I don't Facebook.  I don't even keep up with my own blog the way I want to.

But what I do get to do is awesome.  Every moment of my day is set aside for my children.  I am a blessed mommy to be able to be home with my babies.  Do I ever wish I could carve out an hour for myself?  Yes!!!  (and I would spend it at exercising).  But that's ok.  All things in their time.  I'm good.  The kids are good.  Erik is good.  We are enjoying life and every precious memory we make.

Here are some pictures of our weekend at home.  It was cold, wet and gloomy here so Redbox was our best friend!

  9. I've been keeping track of your blog for over a year now. I've yet to make a comment, but today I couldn't help it. Lucy looks SO GOOD in these pictures! So much color in her cheeks, her eyes are sparkling... I just thought I would share as often it's hard to see those changes when you are with someone every day. But honestly, a remarkable change is about that sweet, little girl!

  11. Pinterest, Facebook, exercise...those can wait. The support you provide your husband, your children, and those around you are so much more important! You are such a blessing to this world. Thanks for blessing me indirectly. You remind me to be thankful, to take time for those around me, and to have faith. Thank you!

  13. Katie, Your children are blessed to have you as their Mommy, you have realized early in life to let the dishes sit, forget about the bathrooms, maybe do a little laundry but it ias noit #1, you kids and husband are. I have been following your blog since Lucy got sick, I love Lucy, she is precious and a gift from God. I pray for her daily. My girls are grown, married and we have 4 grandkids, thewy are precious, I had Thyroid cancer last May, surgery but no TREATMENTS at all, then Nov.19, I had a brain hemmorage, NO surgery, it healed on its own but I was in hospital and Rehab for 4 weeks. This last year was a tough one but still none compared to what yall are going through. God Bless you all and especially Miss Lucy, Kandi Gregg, Fort Worth, Texas
