Heads up on the teacher gift for those that shop early. I am a grade two teacher and I truly appreciate all the gifts that are given to me but I have to say please no more chocolate, mugs or soap. One very good and wonderful gift is a gift card to a book store. To make this personal, the teacher can get the child to sign the book or write their name in it. Another great class gift I have received is a gift card to one of the local malls or a visa card. If each family contributes $10 - $15 and there are 20 students in the class, this adds up very quickly. I used a mall gift card to put money towards my i-touch three years ago. I would never have bought this without the gift card. This is just an idea but as always it is the thought that counts.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these topics and I am having a great time with Fun Fridays - this is my first time doing something like this and it's really motivating me to keep my content updated.
