He point blank told me changes in barometric pressure (or any extreme change for that matter), for many, can cause the onset of a headache, and that unfortunately, there wasn't a heck of a lot one could do about it. I live with wide spread pain 24/7 but my pain is 100x's WORSE when there is a sudden change in the pressure or when it is extremely cold or damp out - Rain does me In!! I'm so sorry Lucy has been suffering but I can assure you, she is NOT alone. Actually, this might make you feel even better - both my family Dr and my Specialist (my pain Dr) are constantly asking me how I'm doing with the weather b/c so often if one of their patients is suffering b/c of their chronic illnesses and the weather!!! Even my best friend who is recovering from Breast Cancer is now also weather affects!! I know its hard and it hurts. Please give Lucy a gentle hug for me and give yourself one too!!! We lived in south FL for 17 years and I had a headache every year at the beginning of rainy season that lasted four or five days. Every single year. Now we live in Arizona where it only rains a couple of times a year. We just had a week of rain and I had a headache the entire time.
