That's all the poor girl needs! Kate, can I ask you mention to your readers to keep Hannah in their prayers. www.angelsforhannah.com She is a little girl from Victoria, British Columbia who has just been diagnoised with Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma. There are only three other children in the world who have had this form of cancer and she is the first in BC. Her family lost there home to a fire a year ago as well. Here is a link to the local newspaper article about her.
http://www.timescolonist.com/health/Burned+last+year+family+battles+cancer/7119170/story.html
Thank you Kate. You are so good about asking for prayers for others in your own time of need. My 5 year old daughter has probably had it 15 times, so only getting it once isn't that bad.
Last fall I had a cough for over a month. It only went away when I was treated for strep. I will pray specifically that Lucy will not pick it up.
And you inspired me to try a new internet recipe. It is cheesy quinoa mac n cheese. Kielbasa, yum, I always keep some at Home and use it on Nights when I am too tired to cook a big Meal or too lazy to run out to the Store after watching my Grandson all Day. I hardly ever use Recipes when I cook, but rather look into my Pantry and start throwing Things together. You can make many, cheap, fairly healthy and quick Meals with Kielbasa and they all taste different, love it : ) Love the Pics, my Grandson loves to play the free Fisher Price online ABC Game for Toddlers online, he is now 21 Month old : )Made by Mimanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5845195637603537263.post-33572777228801882242012-08-22T08:20:20.900-05:002012-08-22T08:20:20.900-05:00I am not a kielbasa fan, but it sure looks good an...I am not a kielbasa fan, but it sure looks good anyway. My kids love the computer also and my two year old know how to turn on netflix, pick a movie and watch it by herself. Kids and technology today. Lucy looks adorable and I love her outfit, I love outfits like that anyway and am kind of drawn to sailor stuff. Poor Ella, two of my kids and myself just went through that a short time ago. Since we started it, it has hit my mom, sister, nieces and nephews, it still is making its rounds. We are praying for you all and that Lucy doesn't get it. Now we have pink eye going through the house...it has started with my middle one and I wait for the next one now. Unfortunately, Cade has had strep 4 times since he had his tonsils out 2 years ago. We finally decided it was embedding in his sinuses. But I've nev...Praying Lucy doesn't get it!

But I've never known lack of tonsils to have any correlation with not getting strep? Lessening it a bit maybe, but...not at all?

When I had my tonsils out, it turned into now did I not only get strep, but I'd get ear infections (often in both ears - which I'd never had prior to that) and sinus infections all at once. Unfortunately, even at, well...close to 40, I still don't get one without the others, regardless of what it starts out as. And I am GOOD about catching it quickly - most of the time with strep the quick test won't even catch it, it has to be the long test because I know that early on to having it that that's what's up...and I STILL can't get enough antibiotic in fast enough to avoid the lovely trifecta!

Anyway, praying Ella feels better quickly and that the rest of you, and Jack, and especially Lucy, stay healthy!Lisanoreply@blogger.com
