Totally Random

Tonight I got certified in CPR/First Aid. I had done it over 16 years ago while training for lifeguarding certification, but I had to get a little more current for my current teaching job. It was AWESOME! I learned so much and feel so much more prepared. I'm not sure if you have done it recently, but I highly recommend it. I'm praying I never have to use it. But if I'm ever put in that situation I feel prepared.
I mean, who would not want to be ready to protect these precious lives?

  1. Good for you! I too hope I never have to use it. I have this fear of panicking if a situation ever happens to where it would be needed, but I've been told that, "It will just come to me!" Erik says as long as you're doing "something," it will def. help. He also says that if you don't break a rib, you're probably not doing it hard enough, lol! Gee whiz! I'm praying that I will never have to use it!

  2. I went with Sara to the infant CPR session of her childbirth class. The whole time I was thinking about Coco (around 6 mos. at the time) and wondering if I could actually do it. It's knowledge you pray you never have to practice.
    P.S.
    Pretty girls!!!

  3. Junior Auxiliary just had a certification class in which many of us got certified. I, like you, had done it years ago when I got my lifegurad certification, but I sure needed a refresher!
