Almost every year we plant sunflowers in our garden. We love to watch them grow and it never ceases to amaze me watching the flowers actually turn to face the sun during the day. It's as if they have a mind of their own. God really created an amazing plant. The girl (and Erik) love picking the seeds and drying them for eating. This year Erik really researched the proper technique and they turned out pretty good.

Lucy adds a LOT of saltAll in all I would say this was our best batch of sunflower seeds yet. We might not be ready to brand our own product, but we sure had fun!
