  3. Kate, Thank you for praying for the people in Boston. We were in Boston to watch our son run the marathon. He had just finished and we were in the car as the first explosion hit. In a few seconds we felt the second one, saw smoke and then saw people running up the street. Some were injured, others just had a look of panic on their faces. We were safe but we are in shock over what happened and how close we were to the bombs. We had walked all over that entire area trying to find a good place to see Justin finish. Continue to pray for us as we try to regain a sense of peace during this time. Pam Rosas (Ashley Swearingen's mom)

  4. Thanks for thinking of everyone affected. It is so hard to believe that something like this could happen 10 miles from home. Boston is a strong and resilient city and will make it through and be even better for it. My kids and their friends had a lemonade stand today and raised over 300 dollars for the victims. I love that even at only 8 years old, they want to do something to help. God Bless you and your family.
