Counts

Today's appointment went well. Her Hgb was 7.3 which is crazy low. She is getting a transfusion right now. However, her platelets and ANC had taken a tiny jump up. Dr. T was really encouraged by that. My personal guess is that Thursday would be pushing it, but you never know. Thursday is our target date for admission, but I'll be happy to get in by Sunday. I'm in a much better place today. Last week's delay was hard to swallow, but today is a new day.

I'll post more later.  I've always said by the time this is over I could be a nurse.  Turns out, Lucy could too!

  2. Too cute! Maybe Lucy will actually be a nurse (or doctor!) when she's all grown up.

  6. Just stopping by to let you know we're praying for you in Spring Hill, TN. :) Thank you for your constant reminders that God is always in control... even in the midst of storms in our lives. You may not feel like an encouragement at times, but I promise, you are! Can't wait to get back on here later this week and hear about you guys starting round 4! Go Lucy! :)

  7. That is so sweet! I could see her working at St Jude helping kids going through the same thing she has - what a testimony for God that would be!

  8. When Lucy grows up and becomes a nurse or even a doctor she will have a tremendous amount of compassion for children who suffer through the same disease she did and she will know the feeling of victory when they overcome it!!!!
