  4. Poor Lucy. And Ella and you :( Not a fun illness to fight off. My son had it when he was 3 and landed in the hospital on IV's. The rash spread into the back of his throat and he couldn't swallow. With the high fever he got dehydrated. I am praying extra hard for Lucy that her system fights off this virus without any complications. Surrounding you all in prayer.

  5. Oh Lu! Feel better, doll. Hope everyone in the house is done with illnesses for awhile! You all deserve some time off!

Kate, Thank you for taking the time to blog. You continue to teach us (so many of us are strangers to you) through your words. You are a Mighty Warrior. There are those that preach and teach and those who simply show up and are an example to the rest of us of what being Christ-like really means. You don't need to have gone to seminary to minister to others. Hold your head high and look up. You are being His hands and feet simply by being you and taking the time to allow us in on your life story. Yes. You are a Mighty Warrior.

  8. Poor sweet Lucy. My mom always says the people with the hardest life and hardest moments in life are the ones with a very bright, and very big future. I am so excited to see what little Lucy will do as it looks like her future is going to be bigger than big foot! ( I really hope big foot is big- or that was a bad metaphor -- or what- simile? lol!!)

Anyways I hope Lucy feels better . :)

  10. Sweet sweet Kate, you are a beautiful example to all. You inspire me to let go and let God take over. Every child on this earth should have a Mother like you. I can not imagine what little Lucy and your family have been through. God will continue to hold and guide you always. Our family will continue to pray for your family.

  11. Fifth's disease is highly contagious. My sister's children played with their cousin who was just getting over it, and they all ended up getting it, all 5 of them. Sick as dogs, fever, rash, and ulcers in their mouths. I'm surprised, but happy, that your kids weren't sicker with this horrible disease. Hope they feel better soon.
