**I've been moved to tears by the prayer requests that have been submitted. I hope you will all join with me and pray for each and every one. Maybe you could take 5 a day. That's what I'm planning on doing. I wanted to share that my mother in law is taking the whole list to her church and they will be praying over them as well. For all of you who submitted requests, please know that you are being bathed in prayer.

Fall is here. Let's play ball. Soccer that is....
My heart just breaks over the many people who are in need of prayer. I have been praying for them and will continue.
ReplyDeleteSoccer time!! Have fun Ella!

Thanks! Prayers back at all as well. Go, Ella!
ReplyDeleteToday I saw the cutest little bald headed boy. He appeared to be undergoing treatment for some kind of cancer. I don't know his name or story but I pray for him and his family tonight. I am also praying for Lane Goodwin and his family. The reports are not good. As always, I am praying for the Krull family. Cancer stinks! Praying for cure.
ReplyDeleteThat brings me so much comfort that there are people joining in prayer for us, and all the other needs that are so important to each family. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteElla looks like such a little sports star. I love that smile, she looks so much like her Momma.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that your mom is taking all the requests to her church brings tears to my eyes. Thank you to everyone for praying for my friends' daughter. Covering them in prayer is the only thing I know how to do. And I will try to pray for five requests a day as well. That's a great idea Kate.
ReplyDeleteI tried to post my families story for prayer but it wouldn't allow me to. I will pray for all those families as well as for Lucy and all of you. I am a mother of 8 month twin girls. While I was pregnant I was put on bedrest my entire pregnancy. My husband worked hard long hours to support us. Two months after our babies were born, we were foreclosed on and had no where to go. We are now living with some friends in the upstairs of their home trying to get back on our feet. Please pray that we soon find a place of our own to call home.
ReplyDeleteWhile I read from afar and pray for your family daily, you are a true inspiration to me. What a blessing to have you thinking of others when your world is so full! Thank you for your prayers for all! May God continue to bless Miss Lucy with healing and strength and give you and your family peace and comfort as the healing occurs!
ReplyDeleteThe prayer requests moved me to tears and to pray also. Thank you, Kate, for providing this avenue. We KNOW our Heavenly Father hears, answers, cares and LOVES!
ReplyDeleteHi Kate! I have been following your blog for close to 18 months now and praying for Lucy every day. I have never commented until now, but I have a prayer request. My husband and I are in youth ministry at a church just south of Nashville. A 10 year old little girl at our congregation just had surgery to remove a golf ball sized brain tumor that was resting on the cerebellum. The GREAT news is that the doctor believes he was able to get the whole thing out. They have not gotten the actual biopsy results back yet, but the doctor believes it is medulloblastoma (sp?). She has alot of treatment left to go through, but we are so, SO thankful to the GREAT and MERCIFUL Lord that he has been able to heal her thus far. I am asking you to pray for her healing, for her little brother, and for her parents, too. I completely believe in the awesome power of prayer, and I know you do, too. I also believe in asking God for specifically what we need. I feel like you could do that for this family better than anyone.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for writing this blog and sharing your precious little girl's journey with us. It brings me such joy to read and see how happy she is and how much she is progressing. May God be with you and you family always.
