Christmas Dinner

The Go Lucy Go Foundation will be serving dinner this Friday night, Dec 21, to the families on floor 7 (and many more) for our 2nd annual Christmas dinner.  If you are local and want to help, we are in need of the following:

homemade desserts
2-liters or gallons of sweet tea
new, unwrapped gifts for children of all ages
gift cards to Walmart, Target or Kroger

You can deliver these items to Rose Construction, which is located at 126 Highway 51 South in Covington.  If you cant donate this year I would ask that you just offer a prayer.  Many lives are touched through this dinner, some greater than others.  Through this foundation we want to be the hands and feet of Christ and hopefully make a lasting impact many lives.

We are packed full to the gills with volunteers for this dinner, but if you are interested in volunteering to serve at another time, please feel free to email me at golucygofoundation(at)gmail(dot)com.

Merry Christmas everyone!

  3. Kate --

I think it is so amazing that you and the foundation do practical things like this. Surrounding you, and those families and children on Floor 7, with prayers.

  4. My son was one of the children who benefitted from your gracious kindness. Friday he had surgery to reconstruct his rib cage. He was in a tremendous amount of pain Friday night. There was a soft knock in his door and a kind young man named Taylor told us of your ministry. We couldn't join you but Taylor brought a truck to my son later. Bless you for your kindness and love! Ive applied to your fb group. My sons and I would like to support your efforts. Much love, many prayers, lots of thanks!
