Yes, that's me. Behind the curve ball. Trying to play catch up. Figuring out that maybe I'm not cut out for this hard core blogging after all. Oh, well. This is me. This is life. Maybe I'll get to Fun Friday tomorrow. For now I wanted to share pictures of a new family tradition that means the world to me. Decorating my parents' Christmas tree. I'm so very thankful that my sister lives close enough for us to do this together. I look forward to the day when my baby brother's children are the ones breaking the ornaments!
Have I mentioned how awesome God is? Well, He is...in case you were wondering. If you are so inclined, I would like to ask that you say a prayer for my dear sweet mother this Tuesday. She will be having a heart cath. I have to admit that this caught us all off guard. As I tell her, she's the healthiest "old" woman I know. Almost 15 years ago, we almost lost my mother to a massive pulmonary embolism. Although the heart cath is a common procedure, the very thought that something might be wrong with my mom scares me to death. My family would be appreciate your prayers.
Merry Christmas!
Who cares if Fun Friday doesn't happen on Friday? Your blog. Your way. And all of 'us' in BlogLand who are lucky enough to follow and pray for your family are grateful for the time you take to document your journey. And to celebrate Lucy. Prayers for your Mum will be offered up this week. God Bless.

ReplyDeleteSo I have to admit that I was never a fan of smocked john-johns on boys. But Jack has changed my mind because he looks amazingly adorable in them! My sister is pregnant with the first grandkid in our family and as soon as I found out it was a boy...I purchased him a smocked dinosaur john-john. I hope he wears them as well as Jack!!!
