Tonight is a catch up post. Earlier this Fall, Lucy's class went on a field trip to a local farm. It was a fun day, with lots of activity barns for the kids to explore. The farm was set up to actually teach the children about local farming and food discovery. They also had a killer slide that both Jack and Lucy loved!
This last picture pretty much sums up our day. It was hot, humid and everyone was really tired. My sweet three year old just wouldn't stop though. He kept up with the big kids but collapsed as soon as he settled in his car seat. I am so thankful that I got to spend the day with both he and Lucy. I am so fortunate to be able to go on field trips with my kiddos. Another blessing I'm not taking for granted today.
Don't you think it is completely irresponsible to post photos of your children in their school tee shirts? Anyone on the internet knows where to find them now! Think smarter!
ReplyDeleteI dont commebt on your post often, not sure that i ever have actually. I LOVE your family and have been following your blog since the beginning if Lucy's journey...i couldnt resist posting this time though. That first picture if Lucy is sooo sweet, that sweet smile on her face is precious!
ReplyDeleteWell of the two commenters above it sure is easy to tell which one has much of nothing good to do with their life. What a shame people have to lower themselves to coming on someone else's blog and posting their negativity. If you don't like what you see don't read! Misery sure does love company. More like Crappy Mom.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a really fun trip! I got to go on my first field trip with my son about a month ago and it was great. I am so looking forward to being able to do more during my kids' school years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful spot for kids and parents to go. Take those field trips with your kids for as long as you can. These make great memories.
ReplyDeleteAlways lifting you up in prayer Lucy. :)
Because she hasn't mentioned the name of their school before and everyone already knows their full names? They're fine. Schools have solid security in place to protect the children from strangers.
ReplyDeleteSchools do? Yes, however I agree with Scrappy Mom. Their own mother should be the first protector when it comes to cybersafety.
ReplyDeleteYes, schools do. I'm a teacher and every school in our district has a security plan and team of people to help care for our students.
ReplyDeleteThis was a lovely blog post
