This year's race poster has been finalized. Have you ever seen a superhero this cute? But then again, she's always been a superhero to us.
I hope you will join us for this year's 5k. It is going to be another amazing day. We have lots of kids activities planned (face painting, bouncy houses) and live music! And if that's not enough the race prizes are awesome this year!
We have extended the early discount registration until Saturday March 8th, in honor of Lucy's 8th birthday. Go to www.racesonline.com to register today!
Very sweet and inspiring. Thank you for all you do and for your openness and testimony. I continue to pray.

The March edition of Reader's Digest had an article called Everyday Heros (or something close) that featured parents of children who had been diagnosed with cancer and how they turned their experiences into various fundraising efforts to support awareness and research. i thought of you and how you fit right in with that group. What you're doing is amazing. You, Lucy and the rest of your family are often in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteI work for a Methodist Church in Gardendale, AL. Every Monday morning, we review prayer requests from the congregation. Today, Lucy's name was in there for her upcoming scans. It was so cool to "know" her, her story, and know what a precious family she has! Please know we are praying for her! The pictures you posted in this post are too sweet! She is amazing and looks so healthy! You and your family are in my constant prayers!
ReplyDeleteLucy, and your family will be in our prayers daily. We'll be petitioning on March 10th!
