An End

All good things must come to an end. We had a wonderful trip and are so thankful and grateful that we even had the opportunity. Driving back Erik and I were talking about where we were in June of this year and how absolutely miraculous it is that we did this trip, just 4 months later, as a family.

We had a "hair raising" time at the St. Louis Magic House and ended our trip with an obligatory dinner in Sikeston, Mo at Lambert's Cafe. The kids had a blast trying to catch the rolls!

i started following your blog during those really uncertain times this summer. I am so happy that you are able to spend this time together. Our God is an awesome God! Praise Him for healing Lucy. I continue to pray for her full recovery and continued remission. Go Lucy Go!

  7. We absolutely love Lamberts and when our kids were young they always had fun trying to catch those rolls! I continue to pray for Lucy each time I petition the Lord for my precious sister. She is halfway through the first leg of chemo. She has 6 more weeks before the stem cell transplant process begins. we are waiting on results of blood work sent to Mayo and I can so sympathize with the angst of waiting. That is the hardest part.... prayers so appreciated!
