A Dear Friend

I am writing to the people of Covington and the surrounding area.  You all have proven to be the most caring, generous and serving community.  I am so proud to be a part of this great county.  Our family will forver be grateful for the way you cared for Lucy and our family. 

But today, there is another family that needs your help.  My dear friend, Carol Ferrell, has recently been diagnosed with rectal cancer.  Up until yesterday she did not have insurance, when by the true grace of God she was approved for Tn Care.  And while they are rejoicing in this new development, this insurance will not come close to paying for the medical expenses she will encounter on this journey towards healing. 

If ever there was a woman who was deserving, Carol would be her.  She is one of the most giving and selfless ladies I know.  She has raised her granddaugther from birth and would give you the shirt off of her back.  Tipton County.....Carol needs our help.

I encourage you to think of giving, if only $5 dollars, towards Carol's fund.  I know I personally could do with one less Christmas present if I knew that she was getting the medical care she needs.  A fund has been set up at Regions Bank in her name.
