Jack is sick. Coming from both ends. Sorry. I know that's gross. Lucy apparently didn't get rid of her CDiff on her last antibiotic so She is sick again. Started 2nd round of meds today. Let's just say things here aren't so great. Merry Christmas to us!
Praying that both Lucy and Jack get better...FAST!!
ReplyDeleteSending you hugs and love. It will get better. Hang tough like you always do.
ReplyDeletePraying for you.
I am so sorry Lucy and Jack are not feeling well :-( We have had CDiff twice in our house. Our daughter was hospitalized with it and on Flagyl for several weeks. Our son had it when he was 14 months and was hospitalized and both my husband and I got it then too. He was on Flagyl for a couple weeks and it did not get better so he was put on Vacomycin for six weeks. It is not a fun virus and I feel so bad for Lucy because it is painful. You probably already have, but you may want to talk to Jack's pediatrician because he may have it too. We all had the vomitting along with the other unpleasant side effects. I will pray for a speedy recovery for them both.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry. There are no words that I can say, but you can be assured that I will pray for you all tonight. May the night prove restful for your household, and may you feel the presence of our Father.
ReplyDeleteHang in there.
Love,

ReplyDeleteKate, I am so sorry that Lucy has CDiff that is not a plesant virus. When my Grandmother was in several rehabs and nursing homes she contracted it and it was really hard to get rid of , but after many times we figure out a few little tricks to help ...Acidolphus capsles open up two and sprinkle them in yogurt and eat that twice a day , If lucy is not able to eat the yogurt just open the capsles and put them on anything she will eat , they have absolutly no taste . acidolphus will help replace the good bacteria in her system that the medicine is killing. This should help relive some symptoms ...It worked with my grandmother , but as with anything consult her doctor first .
ReplyDeleteI hope it gets better for you and your family , you are in my nightly prayers and have been since the begining , Christina
