I was so excited to see her pictures with her crown and ribbons and balloons and most of all her AMAZING SMILE and (her hair that is growing back so cute). I had tears when I looked at the photo of her and her sister in bed with chcolate milk. She is such a strong/inspirational little girl that has gone through so much and still has a smile on her face. Hi, I met Lucy's grandfather and grandmother tonight at Firebirds. I am a host there. I saw he was wearing a St. Jude shirt and I decided to ask. Best decision I have made, I learned about Lucy and how strong she is. She is in my prayers and will be in my prayers every night. I strongly believe God will get her through this. People like her set an example to everyone that life can get rough, but obstacles can be conquered. I hope I can meet Lucy, I would love to give her a hug. Keep your head up Krull family, God is on your side.

I came to your blog thru a friend's blog...imagine my surprise when I saw one that one of Lucy's nurses is another friend of mine...such a small world. I have read your blog from time to time thru smiles and tears....just know that random people like me have your entire family added to our prayers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo of Lucy in her bright fuschia shirt, with those colorful twirlers around her head... I don't know your family, but have been following since the early days of her diagnosis, and after Lucy's incredible journey, this photo made my heart jump a little - such a pink glow, a healthy look, bright eyes... it's a look of hope, and health, and endless childhood. She's an unbelievable trooper, but you already know that. Happy Birthday, sweet hero; may the many blessings you've brought to others' lives return to you tenfold.
