Doctor came by just now. Lucy will have a CT scan this morning. If that looks good we can go to the 7th floor and likely get the drain out today.
Lucy is quite unhappy this morning and her head hurts a good bit. No one got sleep last night (well, not Mom and Dad) thanks to the incessant beeps and alarms in the ICU. As always, though, we had a wonderful team of doctors and nurses taking care of Lu.
Prayers continue to be appreciated.

ReplyDeleteAlways praying for Lucy!! I can't join your link up party as I'm a wanna be blogger but have never taken the leap. I will however continue to read your journey and keep the prayers coming for your precious girl.
ReplyDeleteGO LUCY GO!
I watched Oprah's new channel "OWN" on Sunday and they re-played an episode on the power of prayer. There was this doctor that was on the show that stated that he did research on prayer... he said they just randomly picked 100 people that had medical problems, 50 they prayed for and 50 they did not pray for. After the research was over, he was astonished at the difference between the 50 people that were prayed for. He said a lot of them got better and didn't need as much treatment as the 50 that weren't prayed for.
ReplyDeleteIt truly is amazing how the power of prayer really does affect one's health. I don't know you personally, nor do I know your sweet Lucy, but I have been following your story for over a year now. I share your story with my 6 year old daughter and my wife and your testimony along w/Lucy's story is nothing short of amazing. We pray for your sweet daughter all the time and we ask of God to release her pain and allow her to feel okay. I know he is listening.
Thank you for sharing your story. Thank you for sharing your sweet Lucy.
