Lucy had an amazing day at LeBonheur (for a nice change).  I'll tell you more later, but this is her painting that now has a permanent home on the 7th floor.  We are so honored and proud for Lucy.

The LeBonheur Pumpkin Run is this weekend, so please sign up if you want to run.  It's not too late!

Lastly, I just want to say that some amazing things are happening with the Go Lucy Go Foundation we are creating.  I am so excited to see God work in and through this little dream that Erik and I have.  Thank you all for your continued support.  I had the opportunity to bless a family today thanks to the contributions that you guys have made through the Go Lucy Go 5k.  Wow!  What an experience.  I am so full tonight as I begin to realize that blessings that have come from Lucy's illness.  Praise God!

  4. That painting is enormous! Is it a print from a smaller painting or did she actually paint something so huge?! What a sweetie. I hope she is very proud of her art skills.

  9. Kate, I love everything about this post, from Jack's pics to your very last sentence. And I love Lucy's art! Oh, my...that is awesome. We love to look at all the art in the hospital. Eli is especially fond of the sparrow/season's statue in the lobby. He calls it the "Big Chicken". Ha!

By the way...we were at LeBonheur yesterday, too. We were going in and a lady was carrying Lucy out with Ella beside her. I saw Ella first and thought, hey.... I whipped around, looking for you, but didn't see you. And of course, we were running for a Neuro appt with minutes to spare, as always.

Blessings from the hard times...praise God, indeed!
