Memories I will cherish forever are nights we lay in bed and read our Jesus Calling for Kids. All three kiddos look so forward to ending our day this way. I pray they hold on to this innocence forever.
Tonight we sprinkled confetti under our pillows, just as Lucy's teacher's poem instructed. What a fun way to end our Night Before School. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Good night to all. Sweet confetti dreams!

ReplyDeleteHope the first day of school goes well for everybody! I am, well was as I am on medical leave for stage three BC right now, a grade two teacher. I'd love to know all about the confetti that Sweet Lucy's teacher asked the children to sprinkle. It looks like a very cute idea. I can't believe Jack is starting per-school. Prayers to Lucy especially for a great year. I am sure she will come along in leaps and bounds.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you all at the start of a new school year. We don't go back to school until September - though we only finished the last year at the end of July :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post. Brought back memories of our four when we would read to them. The last time you do something just seems to slip away without fanfare or pictures. Thanks for sharing hope the day was filled with joy and blessings.
ReplyDeleteOh please share the poem. Always looking for fun new traditions and special things for the kids.
ReplyDeleteBest wish to you all, wishing you all a very happy and exciting first day
ReplyDeleteI definitely want to know about the Confetti Dreams. With my oldest start Junior Kindergarten this fall I am looking for some fun ways to mark the night before school! I pray this transition is a good one for all of you.
ReplyDeleteI hope they had a great first day!
ReplyDeleteWow, you guys sure start school early there! Here we still have a month of summer left; schools here don't go back until 3 September and they end at the end of June.
