Confetti Wishes

All my babies are tucked in tight.  Tomorrow is the first day of school for all three of them.  They are giddy with excitement and I am a ball of nerves.  This is going to be a tough year for Lucy and a big adjustment for Jack.  But as I am learning and reminding myself everyday, one day at a time Momma.  One day at a time.

Memories I will cherish forever are nights we lay in bed and read our Jesus Calling for Kids.  All three kiddos look so forward to ending our day this way.  I pray they hold on to this innocence forever.

Tonight we sprinkled confetti under our pillows, just as Lucy's teacher's poem instructed.  What a fun way to end our Night Before School.  I'll post pictures tomorrow.  Good night to all.  Sweet confetti dreams!

  2. Hope the first day of school goes well for everybody! I am, well was as I am on medical leave for stage three BC right now, a grade two teacher. I'd love to know all about the confetti that Sweet Lucy's teacher asked the children to sprinkle. It looks like a very cute idea. I can't believe Jack is starting per-school. Prayers to Lucy especially for a great year. I am sure she will come along in leaps and bounds.

  3. Good luck to you all at the start of a new school year. We don't go back to school until September - though we only finished the last year at the end of July :)

Great post. Brought back memories of our four when we would read to them. The last time you do something just seems to slip away without fanfare or pictures. Thanks for sharing hope the day was filled with joy and blessings.

  9. Wow, you guys sure start school early there! Here we still have a month of summer left; schools here don't go back until 3 September and they end at the end of June.
