My heart just breaks for you! My four year old daughter even knows her name and story because we have prayed for Miss Lucy so much! Our prayers will continue!
Just commenting to say what an amazing job you're doing for your family, through this awful time. I have a daughter Lucy's age and I appreciate her health, complain less and enjoy more...thanks to your blog. I'm not religious, but I hope you'll accept positive thoughts and hope from our family-Shannon
So sorry that today turned out like it did. Prayers are being sent up for you and little Lucy. Hang in there. Like you said before, take it one day at a time! Praying for more good days than not so good ones!!
Wow, I don't know what to say except that y'all are in my thoughts and prayers. Maybe the blood transfusion will help her get her appetite back. Sending lots of love, ((((HUGS)))) and prayers!
You keep it real in your posts on this blog, so I'll just be honest and tell you my heart can hardly handle looking at this photo. No words seem adequate to encourage or comfort. I love you. I am praying for Lucy. I am praying for your entire family. And I believe...and therefore, I have hope! He is able.
I found you through a blog list of someone I follow. Please know that Lucy and your whole family are in my prayers -- not just daily but many, many times through the day and night. I was a pediatric nurse and have seen really sick kids get well. I am praying for that for Lucy!
precious girl. i've been praying for her since i got the news today. not sure of the details of the reason for the blood transfusion, but i'm praying that it will give her the energy she needs...and an appetite along with it while we're praying! love you friend. constant prayers that this "break" inbetween treatments will start to give you all some rest and down-time.
Beautiful picture of your love and concern for her. These are the kinds of things in which I can only say we are praying daily for you. Heaven's Throne is being bombarded by prayers of all who are praying.
Bless her little heart! I will be praying extra hard that this transfusion will give Lucy back her spunky, sweet personality, along with an appetite for strength...and allow her to enjoy her break time! God bless her, she is so very precious, and my heart breaks that she is going through this. Praying God will continue to give you strength also Kate. I know this is a bump in the road you didn't want to hit. In my thoughts and prayers daily. Sending Hugs! A Mom-Mom in NJ
