I've got my hands full of sweet, precious children this morning. We are spending lots of time in the floor playing today (Jack is helping me type..). I just wanted to say that Lucy got the best checkup ever yesterday. We are free until June 8th!! We have lots of fun things planned as we have to fit 8 weeks of summer into 2!
I'll post more later but right now duty calls......
Praise the Lord!!! Enjoy these 2 weeks with your family!
ReplyDeleteWhooo Hoooo!!!! Go Lucy Go!!!! Prayers are answered for at least 2 weeks.... We hope it continues for the rest of your precious life.... My prayers for you will never stop, sweet angel. You have touched my heart in a way you will never know. Your spirit is so strong I can almost feel it from all these miles away!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear that! I want you to know, we pray for your sweet Lucy everyday, sometimes many times a day. I have a daughter who just turned 6 and a 4 year old boy and a 14 month old. I know how busy it can be, and to even have one of them with the flu can just make things crazy - not to compare that to what you all and Lucy are going through - I'm saying that to tell you that you handle all of this with such GRACE. The way God shines through you as you write these postings is incredible. I love how honest you are - about the valleys and also about the great things God is doing in Lucy. You are an incredible Mom, and I am sure there are times you don't feel like it - but, I can just tell how much all 3 of your sweet kids ADORE and LOVE you, and really, that's all that matters. We will continue praying for all of you, especially precious Lucy's healing! Hang in there and watch God do amazing things! I will leave you with one of my favorite quotes : "No matter how steep the mountain - the Lord is going to climb it with you. -- Helen Steiner Rice"

I am new to the blog world and stumbled upon your blog by the Grace of God! I am a nurse who takes care of adults with cancer (specifically Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma). God Bless your sweet Lucy and your entire family. I will be following your journey to healing, and praying for you daily!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time together! Praying it is "uneventful" and full of joy!
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord! He continues to answer our prayers and hold Lucy close to his heart. Enjoy these two weeks to the fullest. I won't stop praying for our little fighter.
