You can do this Krull family ... our family is also from TN and we have recent experience of being apart due to medical treatments. I was separated for 3 months from my other two children while I was with my oldest son in Wisconsin receiving treatment. (That is 600 miles and 10 hours away from our home.) Although it's probably hard to see now, the silver lining is that you all will still be close enough to still see each other and visit even though you are not at home. You are still in the same state and that is such a blessing! I know it's hard to not have the comforts of home but we stayed at a Ronald McDonald House and was overwhelmed by the love and support we received there. God will provide. We will continue to pray for Lucy!!!
Kate: I was just turned on to your site from a friend who says she loves to follow your blogs. I must say there are some very eerie similarities between you and I. I have a son named Jack, and daughter named Lucy. Lucy is a patient at St. Jude. She is 3 and being treated for leukemia. Odd...and from what I read so far, we have similar interests and personalities...even more odd...We also have a Team Lucy :) We are on FB as Team Lucy. Just wanted to drop you a line..as it was too much of a coincidence not to. you can contact me at webershawna@gmail.com if you would like to chat.
