(Jack discovered playdoh)
(we are creating a word wall for Lucy to help with her site words. Mrs. Cissy and Mrs. Beverly will be so proud!)
At the end of the day, this little girl was tuckered out! Today, I am so grateful for every breath my three children, wonderful husband and I take.
Lucy looks great! She looks like she is feeling better. I continue praying for all of you daily. Jack is so adorable it almost makes me want to have another baby!! :)
ReplyDeleteIs that little hairs I see on Lucy's head?! Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteLucy does look really good. So happy to see that. Praying hard for you all and loving the good news lately.
ReplyDeleteI see little hairs on Lucy's head, yay! She looks great! GO LUCY GO!!

Oh my! Lucy looks absolutely great!!! She has gotten her color back in that beautiful face of hers!!
ReplyDeleteLucy looks so much better! The color is really returning to her face!!
ReplyDeleteShe is so precious Kate!!! Thank you for sharing her & Ella & Jack too!!!
ReplyDeleteJenn
Praising God for that healthy glow that precious Lucy has now! Go Lucy Go!
ReplyDeleteYour Lucy is BEAUTIFUL!! She is looking healthier every post and we are to thankful to The Great Physician!
ReplyDeleteJack is such a boy! Loving playdoh was one of our boys favorites until it was in the hair. :)
And...the Bob books! They taught our daughter to read! We adopted her from Russia when she was four years old, she behind the curve a little and the Bob books helped sooo much!
Blessing to you and your sweet family and we will continue to pray without ceasing
She looks soo good! We will continue to pray for God's blessings for Lucy and her family.
ReplyDeleteMy kindergarten son has the Bob books in his classroom also. And, if you haven't already found them, the LeapFrog DVDs "Letter Factory" and "Word Factory" are GREAT at helping kids learn their phonics sounds without even realizing that they are doing it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day full of so much that is 'normal'. I'm sure you cherish 'normal' days and we celebrate them with you too!
ReplyDeleteKate, My son asked me to get "the famous" Lucy's "autograph" yesterday. Ha! I guess I should have asked if that is what ya'll were working on...
ReplyDeleteYou are an amazing woman of God! Your witness is awesome.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Lucy looks great. She has a healthy glow to her sweet little face and her pretty eyes are sparkling! Praise God!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone here, Lucy looks great!
ReplyDeleteContinuing to pray,
<><
Lucy looks really good! Her coloring is so much better. She looks like she has her spark back! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI don't usually comment (scratch that ~ I actually never have before but I've been lurking since since "the beginning"!), but thought I'd pass on a couple easy homeschooling tips that might help you get through this week (I teach kindergarten and the BOB book caught my attention!). Starfall.com has some (free) great phonics activities, games, and stories that Lucy would probably really like. And, Leapfrog has an EXCELLENT DVD called Letter Factory (if she's still working on her letter sounds) and Talking Words (Building short vowel words): great songs and very high interest. The Talking Words is my absolute favorite and is great for all five year olds (It might be especially good for Lucy during some of those "low energy" times. I'd be happy to send you a copy to the Rose Construction address if you think that it would be up Miss Lucy's alley). :o)
ReplyDeletePlease know that you have, and continue to be, in the thoughts and prayers of so many!
Oh what a beautiful sight! I LOVE this picture of Lucy! She looks so peaceful and SOOOO beautiful!!! Please tell her The Hamiltons are sending her love and continue to pray for her everyday! Love the pic of Jack, too! What a cutie!!! What a beautiful family you have!!
ReplyDeleteLove and Blessings,
Tracie
Sight words...oh we love them here too. How "normal" that is...and so great that Lucy is strong enough to learn now. I saw an idea on Pinterest.com where someone had taken plastic Easter eggs and put beginning letters i.e. b, c, h, t, s, and so on, on one side and ending on the other i.e. at. I think they used stickers. Lucy can twist the sides of the egg to make new words. Different eggs for different combinations. Have fun! Love to see Lucy doing so well. Continued Prayers.
ReplyDeleteHer handwriting looks really good....you know, both from the mom of a kindergartener and an OT as well! So proud of her
ReplyDeleteLucy is beautiful and she looks like she is perking up a little!
