What a sweet, special picture. Kate you are so strong (regardless of the days challenges) and encourage me every day. I have smiled, laughed and cried throughout the past year. I am so blessed to have found your blog...You and your family are precious....
Absolutely love this picture. You will always treasure this. As for your post yesterday God has put you in a spot that he knows that you can handle and wants you to be able to help other parents that are going through the same thing that you are. You are allowed to cry and aloowed to scream. You are allowed to have all the mixed emotions that you have. You are one strong lady, mother, and wife. I pray for you all everyday and hope that Lucy will be healed and that may your lives continue back to normal. May God Bless!!!!!
No kidding...that picture is beyond precious. There is nothing like having a sister and they are going through so much...I'm quite at a loss for words at how beautiful of a moment you captured. :) thanks for sharing...
Kate, I'm not sure if I have ever responded to a post, but my heart says it's time to. I started following your family's journey through Kellan Good. My daughter met Kellan last summer at St. Jude, and she fell in love with the family. Through their Caringbridge site, I began following Lucy. My heart aches for Lucy and your family. You fight and love is such an inspiration to all mother. You are a role model of a mother. I pray often for your precious girl and all of you. I really believe better days are just over the horizon. Thanks for sharing your story. I can honestly say, your story and the Good's has changed my heart and my daughter's forever. Katie now wants to work at St. Jude. How amazing that such little people can can make such an amazing impact on so many people. Hang in there. I read something the other day that said, "Let her sleep, for when she wakes, she will move mountains." This is your Lucy. She will definitely move mountains and you and your family will also.
That is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. Probably just what you needed after your hard day yesterday. Thinking about you and hope that today is a much better day!
Sisterly love at its highest. Brought tears to my eyes. Praying for Fridays scan. You all are thought of many times a day and I check the blog at least twice a day. Lucy holds a very special place in my heart. Hugs!!
How could that not make your heart smile! What beautiful moments for these beautiful sisters to share, and feel secure with one another, and God's Love for them! Hoping and praying today will be a better day, and Lucy will start to feel better. Bless her heart, she is still, one of the bravest, and strongest little girls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing....even if it is just through a blog.
Love, love it..I have never posted a comment, I just read your blog every few days. This picture brought tears to my eyes. I pray that God wraps his arms around her & heals her little body...
Siblings have a connection that is beyond that of a parent and child...they tell one anothers story...this picture brought tears to my eyes...thank you for sharing. Kelly
I love the picture and love they share for one another. I check your blog so many times a day to be sure I don't miss a thing to pray about and cry about and cheer about. I've followed you since this phase of your journey began. I wish I lived closer to help you out. We will meet one day if not in glory. Love you and pray for you and your sweet family. To God Be The Glory for all things done.
Kate, the picture is the most precious photo, you may have ever made. I read your post every day. I check off and on all day, to see if there is anything new. Your post the other night about having to take Lucy back to the hospital and she didn't want to go, just broke my heart. I just cried, and asked God-WHY? does this child have to suffer so much. I admire you and your faith, but my heart breaks for you and your family. You have given me strength, where I didn't think I had it. I read your post, and then I wonder how you go on. Then I remember, that God doesn't put on us, more than we can handle. I find myself asking Him, how much more can they take. I know there are a lot of people praying for Lucy and the entire family, and I have followed you since day one. I will be with you in prayer on Friday. God will be watching over all of you, and giving you what you need that day. Blessings to Lucy and the other children.
