You know, the one where I talked about "one day?"
Well this "one" day has landed miss Lucy in the hospital. We are at St. jude waiting for surgery tomorrow.
Her body is rejecting the Gtube and she vomited so much today that it came out. She has been leaking fluids into her gut which has been causing her severe pain.
It's been a horrible night and we sure would appreciate some prayers for our girl. We have some tough decisions to make before tomorrow. Something's gotta give. Lucy has suffered for too long.
My kids pray for Lucy every single time we say grace. I am sorry you have to endure all this crud! I pray Jesus eases the pain and your family has a peaceful day tomorrow. God bless you.

ReplyDeleteHeard this yesterday and couldn't help but think of you and Lucy. Some things in God's plan are too HUGE for us to grasp. Praying for your nerves, fears, family, and Little Lucy. You were created and designed as these babies' momma for a reason. Although it is probably no where near what you could have ever predicted, it's amazing how God is using you, whether you see it now or not.
ReplyDeletePsalm 131
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.
2 But I have calmed and quieted myself,
I am like a weaned child with its mother;
like a weaned child I am content.
