Don't remember the name of the rehab place in ATL but I do know several children who spent time there - all with excellent results. Praying for the same for Lucy. It is a truly a blessed place with compassionate and wise people.
My parent's and I just got back from the Atlanta area, we stayed in Stone Mountain with our new truck and new truck camper visiting my brother while his wife and 2 children are in India, we're planning on going back to the area next month but will be staying in another part of Georgia, we'll be staying in Helen, GA next month.
Get Ready Atlanta !!! Lucy is on the way !!!! Sitting on the edge of my seat to hear about your journey as God's miraculous healing of Lucy continues. Praying for ALL.. Lucy, Kate, Erik, Ella, Jack and your family here in Tipton County... Go Lucy Go !!! Fight Lucy Fight !!!

Welcome to Atlanta! I have friends whose children have been in Children's Healthcare for rehabilitation. The most successful outcomes have been when the parents prayed for thousands of baby steps to be taken. Rejoice in every one of those steps and do not be discouraged by the inevitable few steps backward. Do not be discouraged if you do not find huge miracles. Seek the little miracles and Lucy will get to where she needs to be. Stay positive. God is with you.
Lucy, work as hard as you can and then some. You can do it. You are a strong amazing girl. As Buzz Lightyear says, to infinity and beyond!
Get Ready Atlanta !!! Lucy is on the way !!! Sitting on the edge of my seat wait to hear about your journey as God's miraculously healing of Lucy continues. Praying for you all... Lucy, Kate, Erick, Ella, Jack and your family here in Tipton County. Go Lucy Go ! Fight Lucy Fight !! Win Lucy Win !!!

This is amazing to me, a few weeks ago things looked so bleak for little Lucy and your family. Now that little girl is off to rehab! how amazing and absolutely wonderful. I KNOW she will do well, she has fought all this time and she will continue to do so. That wee girl is such an inspiration, so much we can learn from a child, we often forget that if we only open our eyes and hearts they will teach us so much more than some ever thought possible. Good luck to you guys and I hope to continue reading such great news.
I would love to come down and bring you some goodies. If Lucy is up for it, I also have a 5 year old who would love to come play with her. She will feel like she is meeting a rock star!
Praying for a fantastic outcome! Good luck and safe travels! GO LUCY GO! So many people are pulling for you and praying for success and miracles! Looking forward to more awesome updates!
Praying for your safety as you travel to Atlanta and for Lucy's rehabilitation, that God will make her strong and whole. May God bless your family, provide for all of your needs, and keep Ella and Jack in his constant care.
I know which rehab hospital you are going to. I know, first hand, how wonderful and amazing that facility is. When you mentioned that you were looking, I was praying that you would be led to that place. Do you see the angels and long string of prayers behind your car? We've all sent them with you! God is good.
Katy, I'm not sure what your plans are but if you're going to Scottish Rite we're within 5-10 minutes from the hospital, just two exits from us. We're familiar with Egleston as well. Our grandson has been there many times due to heart problems. If you need a place to stay or help in any way PLEASE contact me. God bless you all.
I've been following Lucy's journey since her diagnosis and have been praying for her healing. I work in the PICU at CHOA just down the hall from the CIRU! They do AMAZING things with rehab there. Lucy will be in great hands! She's one step closer to being home with her sweet family.

Lucy, YOU are a rockstar!! I don't know how you do it. How you find the strength to fight this battle but you are doing it!! This isn't going to be easy, but just think of all the things you'll be able to do this summer with Ella and Jack that you couldn't do last summer. You have thousands of people praying for you and your family. Those prayers don't stop because you have one good day. All these people have grown to care about you and come here to check on you and your family many times every day. I know I do. You see...I'm sick too. I haven't had the fighting spirit you do...until I found your website. YOU challenge me to do something more everyday. One day it might be something as easy as brushing my teeth or helping my daughter with her homework. Other days, it might be eating more than 4 saltine crackers! I'm trying because I see YOU trying. I have no right to stay in this bed and feel sorry for myself. I'm excited to see what they have in store for you in Hotlanta. You do your best sweetie and remember that Tracee in Pennsylvania checks on you everyday to get her inspiration! Peace be with you sweet girl.
And THIS is why God lets things happen!!!!!! Wow!!!! I too read and pray everyday!! Now I will pray for BOTH of you to keep fighting harder every day. Our God is and awesome God!
Sending prayers to you in your journey! Praying for your babies at home as well, praying for your and Erik's hearts as leaving Ella and Jack must have been as hard as Lucy's rehab is going to be. Praying for complete healing for your sweet Lucy.

I will continue to pray for healing, peace, and strength for your entire family, especially strength for you, Erik, Ella and Jack! We love you guys! Sincerely, Aubrey Hardin Russell & Shaw, and Jim & Debbie Hardin
