Praying for your family and especially sweet Lucy. She is a little fighter and I know God is watching over her. I lost my sister to breast cancer last fall after a year long battle - she was 35, as hard and heartbreaking as it was I cannot imagine it being my child. No little person should have to go through so much.
Praying so hard for Lucy! I noticed that drs suspect meningitis.. 5 yrs ago my daughter was very ill and on strong IV antibiotics for 3 days until tests confirmed she had MRSA(discovered it's rampant in this area now). They switched to a different IV antibiotic and she quickly recovered. Praying for Lucys quick recovery!
Dear God- We ask that you surround Lucy and her family...give them peace and comfort. Lay your hands on Lucy...bring healing. Help the doctors to have wisdom and clear thinking. Help the nurses as they care for Lucy and her family. We seek Your will but know You hear our hearts. Amen.
My heart is breaking for you and your family. Lord, please heal this child. Have mercy on this family! Give them strength and courage. Comfort them. Lord, You are the Great Physician. All things are possible with You. Please, please we beg you to heal this child and give her family a peace that passes understanding.
Praying... praying... praying! Lord, may Your will be done. And by Your will I PRAY that Your will is to heal this young girl and give her the opportunity to serve You. She has walked a walk so many of us never will. She knows what it is to be held by you, Lord. She will serve you well - just heal her and let her shine Your light! She has taught me so much. Just think of what she has to teach all that meet her in her long lifetime. Lord, we lift this family up and ask that you cover them with Your love today.

Kate - while i have read and reread every one of your posts for over a year, i have never responded on the blog. You are not alone, we are all part of the same family, and just know that your family is covered w/ God's grace and our prayers. Lori Rickard Webb

ReplyDeleteI am praying so very hard for you and your family. I was reading your blog today and was reminded of a friends recent request to pray for her son and to send him a penny so that he would have a visual as to how many people were praying for him. I would encourage you readers to do the same. My penny is in the mail, and I hope that your followers will send theirs as well. Let's give Lucy that same visual.

ReplyDeleteKate - while i have read and reread every one of your posts for over a year, i have never responded on the blog. I have told others of lucy's story, i have talked w/ my family (my mom and dad are paul and maxine rickard who live next to your grandparents), but your news now leads me to let you know that i am praying without ceasing for lucy and your family. only another mother can even begin to comprehend the absolute fear and horror when our sweet children are attacked; i stand in the gap for you when you are too overwhelmed to stand, i stand in agreement with you that our God is a loving and awesome God who is carrying your family through this valley to come out on the other side with Him victorious. You are not alone, we are all part of the same family, and just know that your family is covered w/ God's grace and our prayers. Lori Rickard Webb
