Sleep Like a Baby

I've often thought that the person who coined the phrase "sleeping like a baby" never spent a night at our house during the baby years.  None of my children were great sleepers, but Jack takes the cake.  He STILL does not sleep through the night and he very rarely takes more than a 45 minute nap at a time.  To his credit, however, I've just about decided he is just a baby that doesn't require much sleep because he stays so happy all the time.

Anyway, just as I make my claims I think that these two pictures just might prove me wrong.  When Jack gets tired enough, he will go to sleep just about anywhere.

  1. My babies have been good sleepers, but would only sleep in their bed! (or a pack-n-play) He's adorable :)... and continuing to pray for all of you

  2. The person who coined that term should be tortured!!!!!!!! When we don't sleep well, that's when we say we slept like a baby!! :) Though after my first, we were blessed with two good sleepers.

  4. My son is he exact same way as Jack, he is a littler over 2 and has never slept through the night, goes to bed at the earliest 10 and take no more than a 1 nap during the day, and like Jack he is a happy baby too. I think they just like to be with their mommas!

  5. Jack is absolutely precious! He has gorgeous eyelashes. Such beautiful pictures of your handsome boy! Hoping and praying that "Our Lucy" is doing better today, and that they have found a way to treat her vision problem. I can just imagine how scary that was for her, to not be able to focus properly. God love her, she is such a trooper, and will get over this hurdle also, I'm sure. God is watching over your little sweetheart!! Continued prayers for you all.

    Sending Hugs!

  6. Both my girls are good sleepers but my first born would ONLY sleep in her bed. No carseat, stroller, arms, etc. It made it hard to go anywhere or do anything because I was always having to be at home for nap time!

I have followed your blog for a long time & I was devasted to read about Lucy's diagnosis & what she has been going through (as well as your entire family). I would like to talk to you about a possible fundraiser I'd like to do for Lucy & your family, but I don't know how to get in touch with you (I don't see an email address on your blog). Would you mind emailing me?

    Thanks!
