  10. Absolutely love this picture. You will always treasure this. As for your post yesterday God has put you in a spot that he knows that you can handle and wants you to be able to help other parents that are going through the same thing that you are. You are allowed to cry and aloowed to scream. You are allowed to have all the mixed emotions that you have. You are one strong lady, mother, and wife. I pray for you all everyday and hope that Lucy will be healed and that may your lives continue back to normal. May God Bless!!!!!

  14. Kate,
I'm not sure if I have ever responded to a post, but my heart says it's time to. I started following your family's journey through Kellan Good. My daughter met Kellan last summer at St. Jude, and she fell in love with the family. Through their Caringbridge site, I began following Lucy.
My heart aches for Lucy and your family. You fight and love is such an inspiration to all mother. You are a role model of a mother.
I pray often for your precious girl and all of you.
I really believe better days are just over the horizon.
Thanks for sharing your story. I can honestly say, your story and the Good's has changed my heart and my daughter's forever.
Katie now wants to work at St. Jude. How amazing that such little people can can make such an amazing impact on so many people.
Hang in there. I read something the other day that said, "Let her sleep, for when she wakes, she will move mountains." This is your Lucy. She will definitely move mountains and you and your family will also.

Hoping and praying today will be a better day, and Lucy will start to feel better. Bless her heart, she is still, one of the bravest, and strongest little girls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing....even if it is just through a blog.

  33. Kate, the picture is the most precious photo, you may have ever made. I read your post every day. I check off and on all day, to see if there is anything new. Your post the other night about having to take Lucy back to the hospital and she didn't want to go, just broke my heart. I just cried, and asked God-WHY? does this child have to suffer so much. I admire you and your faith, but my heart breaks for you and your family. You have given me strength, where I didn't think I had it. I read your post, and then I wonder how you go on. Then I remember, that God doesn't put on us, more than we can handle. I find myself asking Him, how much more can they take. I know there are a lot of people praying for Lucy and the entire family, and I have followed you since day one. I will be with you in prayer on Friday. God will be watching over all of you, and giving you what you need that day. Blessings to Lucy and the other children.
