Praise Jesus!!!! That's SO awesome! I work for a gym, and every Thursday we have a staff prayer meeting. Just letting you know we have been praying for Lucy and your whole family. God is SO good!
WHOOOOO HOOOOOOOO I asked many friends of mine to pray. I will continue to pray..... You guys are so strong. Hang in there. Hopefully she will be healthy in no time.
This is so great!!!! I have been following your blog for about a few months ago and praying for Lucy and your family daily! I have been praying so hard about her ANC numbers. My husband just yelled to me that we were going to be late for our movie- but I said "Just a minute, I have to check on Lucy!" So so so very happy about this news. So happy that you guys are outta' there!
That's wonderful news! So happy for you all. I am sure Lucy is glad to be out of there, and back to a more home like setting. Praying things continue to go well. Enjoy your weekend!
I have read all the way down Lucy's page to the pictures in June when her new treatment began.....All I kept thinking reading her story, seeing glimpses of your little girl's battle with this cancer was what could anybody possible say in a situation like this..
And what I have settled on is a phrase shared with me from a woman I have come to admire..."If you are handed it you can handle it"
And every time I am able to get myself through a tough situation I smile to myself having one more reason to believe that what she told me has always and will always be true.
Please let Lucy know that I believe in her and she is in my prayers <3
YaY! Go, Lucy Go!!!! Kate, I have genuine love for you and your family even though we have never meet. I wanted to write you and Lucy to tell you that I'll be running for Lucy in the St. Jude Marathon this yr. I am not a runner. In fact, I have never even run 1 mile, but I am SO inspired by your family and Lucy's spirit, that I am determined to show her just how much of an inspiration she is to SOOOOO many....young and old. I'm quite sure I won't be the only one running in honor of Lucy, but on my running bib will be "Go, Lucy Go!" I have already started training and am excited and scared about the the possibilities. However, when my legs get tired, I will think of her and your family and the greater cause at hand. God, bless your family and may he continue to keep Lucy tucked close to His side. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! MUCH love, Valli Kelly
YIPPEE!!! The Lord has answered prayers with a yes once again. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to see this! Praise the Lord! She is now out of jail, right?! I love the picture! Still praying!
I am soo happy for you... I was wandering if you have heard the song I wont let go by Rascal Flatts... I think it would be a perfect heartfelt song for this time in your life with Lucy...
Kate, I have just started reading your blog. I went back to the beginning and read it all. So sorry you lost your first one, but did I hear you got it back. I am praying for Lucy constantly. I understand and feel her pain to an area while she is only 5 and I 27. In Nov. last year I caught a rare virus, that attacked my muscles and tried to kill them. We almost caught it too late. I was at UAB for 3 months, I had kidney failure and had dialysis, my kidneys came back though. I also had to have a tracheotomy. I had many hours of PT as well and hated. On Valentines day I got to go home, I still have PT and OT every week as the virus left me with no feeling in my legs are hands. I can't walk, and can't open my hands. I am making a come back. Please give Lucy a huge hug for me and know that I am praying for perfect and complete healing for sweet Lucy. Our God can and will work wonders. Hugs.
So, I'm not sure what all the numbers mean, but from your last statement and title of the post, I'm thinking this is great news! Congratulations and God bless your wonderful family!
