story and pictures to come in the morning, but right now i am snuggled up with the most beautiful bald headed little girl in the world. I really think she may be prettier without hair. I cried a lot today and Lucy shed a few tears but she is wonderful!! ASnother day at St.Jude completed and more blessings to count than sand on the beach.
I'm praying for you all everyday. Lucy has touched so many people in such a short time.
ReplyDeleteGo Lucy Go!!!<3
Sweet bald girl and her mama. I am glad you two are snuggled up with her. I hope her vomiting has subsided a little bit. I'm praying for you guys.
ReplyDeleteI am crying with you.....and praying
ReplyDeleteI am sure she is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour attitude through all this is amazing. I do not comment much, but your family is always in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeletePraying for you and your family. Tonight my 2 year old daughter prayed for Lucy and her doctors without my prompt. Your faith inspires me. Thank you for sharing your story. Lucy is beautiful with or without her hair. I sent a book written by a friend of mine that is about loosing your hair. Hopefully she will get it soon if she has not already. Praying for you right now-
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she looks just beautiful. I'm sure it's so hard for both her and you, but if it gets her better, so worth it. I'm praying not that God keeps Lucy free of strife (wouldn't that be nice!) but that He keeps you both strong and gives you comfort. Go Lucy Go!
ReplyDeleteAwww. I'm sure she's beautiful, inside and out. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she looks absolutely adorable!! I can't wait to see pictures! Praying that little Lucy is able hold down her food and for many more good days than bad ones!! Continuing to pray for complete healing for Lucy and protection from the radiation. Praying for you, Erik, Ella, and Jack as well! One day at a time...GO LUCY GO!!!!
ReplyDeletesweet precious BEAUTIFUL girl!
ReplyDeleteI know Lucy is beautiful no matter what and she has a Momma and thousands of people praying for her every day :) Lifting yuo guys up in prayer!
ReplyDeleteI have been "silently" following Lucy's story and have been praying for her every day...my girls have even begun to ask how Lucy is doing.
ReplyDeleteYou strike me as a music person and there is a song I heard for the first time this weekend that made me think of you. It is probably an old song and I am just out of the loop, but it is called "Blessings" by Laura Story (It's on you tube for free). We struggle with some pretty serious medical conditions with our third born little girl (currently four years old), so I thought that if it spoke to my heart, it might speak to yours. I hope this doesn't seem weird coming from a stranger.
We will continue to pray for your family. Stay strong in Jesus!
I shed a couple of tears as well reading this post. I know she is just beautiful! What a brave girl you have.
ReplyDeleteKate, I would like you to know what a blessing you have been to me. Your sweet heart in such difficult times has already taught me so much about being a Mom and finding blessings in the hard times!
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord you got some rest! You certainly needed that!
We are praying for sweet Lucy all the time. Our daughter Ella wanted to tell Lucy, "Jesus will make your hair grow back."
What an amazing girl Lucy is!!!
I think Lucy is one of the most adorable little girls I have EVER seen. Hair or no hair.
ReplyDeleteBless all of you! I'm sure your strength, faith and love are what's helping Lucy get through this with so much of the same! We may never meet in this life, but we (you, Lucy, Ella and me) are all sisters in Christ and I believe God led me to your blog so I could join you in prayer. I pray for your family so often! Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteBless your bald-headed baby! We still pray and talk about Lucy in our house daily. Funny how you don't really "know" a person but yet you feel so close to them. Thanks for sharing your journey Kate. :)
ReplyDeleteContinuing to pray and pray for you all. I believe you that Lucy is cute without her hair, for she is so cute with it that I feel she doesn't need hair to look cute!
ReplyDeletePraying,
<><
I am positive she is BEAUTIFUL! She is such a brave little girl! Continuing to pray for healing physically, mentally and emotionally for all of you guys. After your post yesterday we yesterday we focused on Ella during our prayers to Nana's.
ReplyDeletegod bless you all
ReplyDeleteSNUGGLING is MUCH MORE IMPORTANT!!!!
ReplyDeletePrayers of Blessings heaped upon you all!!!
"More blessings to count than sands on the beach," I love that. :) I have been following Lucy's story and I want you to know that the God's lighy is shining so bright through each of you. I have been praying a lot specifically for sweet Ella...she kind of reminds me of myself when I was little, but I am so glad that she is able and willing to open up to you about how all of this is affecting her personally. Stay strong, your story has touched more people than you may ever know.
