Look at the hair bow. I am going to let her wear one until she can't any longer. I think she looks just like the normal, pre-cancer Lucy. So beautiful.

LONG Day
Lucy had a great schedule today and we were just sure we would be home by 4:00. She was scheduled for RT at 12:45. At 3:30 they finally took her back. Due to the horrible storms in the area the LINAC machine was down and all therapies were delayed. Since she is NPO before her procedure, that means she has had no food or drink since 7:00pm last night. She was such a trooper today, but I know she was tired and hungry. I sure was! I am in the waiting room and am learning to take advantage of my free time. Blogging and working on our taxes. Fun times!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad you had a great weekend, and so sorry the day was long. Also so glad y'all weren't driving home when the big storm hit! I went back and read some of the old posts. I feel like I am reading your diary, especially the post about old and new Kate. Just take one day, hour, or minute at a time, and know that all the people who follow your blog are praying for you and your family.

ReplyDeleteLucy looks gorgeous! My prayers are with you often. My sister in law makes bows, headbands etc. Didn't know if Lucy would like headbands with bows on them? They are these really soft headbands that you can interchange the bows on. I would LOVE to send you some if you think that she would like them....my SIL website is www.fiveblessedbows.com, if you click on the picture in the begging it brings you to a page that has many different styles on them, but in the top left corner there is a baby with a pink headband and bow, that is what I am talking about. Adn then if you scroll down farther you can click on baby bow headbands. Let me know if you think Lucy would like these:-) my email is mssweetpea2000@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteoh, i love the big bows...she looks so beautiful, kristi
