So glad y'all are home!! What a great start to the weekend! I have been thinking about and praying for you and Lucy all day and have been checking your blog every couple of hours for an update. Praying that Lucy's fever is down, her appetite has returned, and you have a wonderful weekend at home as a family. GOD IS GOOD!!!
Bless you. I happened upon your blog the other day. I have bookmarked you and will pray for Lucy and your family. I'm a single mom of 3 (19yr, 17yr and 9yr) I can't imagine what you deal with every day. I don't know what else to say. LP
I remember when my brother's 4 years son (my beloved nephew) was going through intensive chemo that forced him to spend the majority of time in the hospital in ICU. My brother loved those moments when they could take Brady home for a few days and they could all be a family under one roof if only for a short time.
Btw, that 4 year old boy is now 19 year old and just finishing up his 1st year of university.

I've been following your blog for about a month now, but I haven't commented until today. Lucy and your family have been on my heart since first reading your story. This morning as I was driving to work, the new Rascal Flatts song, "I Won't Let Go" came on the radio. I immediately thought of you and Lucy. I thought of your post yesterday (at least I think it was yesterday) and your comments about doing anything any mother would do. As I listened to the song, I teared up and got chills and then I thought that not only did the song remind me of your love for Lucy, but it made me think of everyone's prayers and thoughts for you and your family. I hope you can feel the love and prayers that are coming your way from all over the world. I know you might have already heard this song, but I linked it here in case you want to listen and know that just like you're there to carry Lucy through her hard time, we're all here to carry you and your family, if only through prayers and far away thoughts. I also have faith that God won't let you go and He too won't let you go. Anyway, while I think of Lucy, you, and your family often, you all have been especially on my heart today. I'm so glad to read that you're all home together. I say special prayers for Ella and Jack too and know that your entire family will make it through this hard time. The love and strength of your family shines through this blog, and I know that Lucy is so blessed to have such a strong family to help her through this.
