I will give her credit to the fact that she just won't let this keep her down. She worked through OT and PT even though she felt horrible. She visited with her grandparents and sister, even though she would rather curl up in a ball and sleep. She's such a fighter. She makes me want to be a better person. I love her so much!

ReplyDeleteKate,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to leave a note of encouragement to tell you that hope springs eternal. When my son was only 2 1/2 years old, he was diagnosed with neuroblastoma. We went through many, many months of surgeries and chemo. My heart aches for you, Lucy, and your family, because I have been there too. But Kate, my son is now a 31 year old, 6'4" computer programmer who has a Master's Degree. He is living proof of the miracles of prayer and healing. May your precious Lucy experience that same healing and strength.
With sincere hope ~ Mrs. A
If only I could take her sickness for a day -- just to give that poor child a break! Since God doesn't work that way, I'll just continue to remind my family to, 'Pray for Lucy, a little girl we don't know'.
ReplyDeleteLucy looks so worn out. I'm praying that the fever will go away and that all of you can get some rest. Praying....
