I'm so disappointed that Lucy had to go back in the hospital! I'm praying for your strength and God's grace as y'all stay there for the next 2 weeks! Praying hard that her fever goes away and her counts come back soon so she doesn't have to stay there for so long!
"As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you;" Isaiah 66:13
"May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant." Psalm 119:76
"The word of the Lord came to me, saying, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born - I set you apart;" Jeremiah 1:4-5
Wishing I could pray over you and Lucy in person, instead of over the computer screen Kate. I dove into scripture this morning looking for comfort and peace when I began to pray for your sweet girl. Please know that Chattanooga is praying for Lucy, you , Erik, Ella & Jack - as I am spreading this request to everyone I know. May God hold Lucy in his arms and give her comfort and strength throughout the next 2 weeks at St.Jude. Love, Jenny Underwood

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. It's the nature of the fiend cancer. Just when there's cause for a little rejoicing, we get sucker punched. Love and prayers.
