My sister pointed out today that I promised to update after Wednesday's good news. When I wrote that I had the best intentions. And then....life happened. 3 kids, daily trips to St. Jude, dinner to prepare, tumbling classes. You know, all the stuff (minus cancer) that all other moms have to do every day. It was so wonderful being with my family for the past few days. Exhasuting....but wonderfully amazing.
Jack is walking like a mad man! I'm so proud of him and just watching him makes my heart smile. He turns 11 months this week. Wow! I just can't believe it.
Ella is busy with school and has started a tumbling class. I have never seen her so passionate about anything before. She loves it!
Lucy is asleep and we need to be headed that way, too. Tomorrow is the hardest day of the week. I am dreading it so much.
I have lost my camera USB cord, so I won't have my good pictures to post until later this week. I have some from my phone that I am looking forward to sharing tomorrow. Anyway, I am rambling now and must sleep.
Thank you all for your prayers.
Kate, talked to your mom and she said you don't want me to set up a new TAKE THEM A MEAL schedule. People are asking about it so please don't think that people don't want to do it! Many people are looking for some way to minister to your family! Let me know if you change your mind!
ReplyDeleteWe're so very thankful for Lucy's good news!!!
I reported to the Sassy Seniors today. They, too, are so very thankful! But I reminded them that we must not become slack in lifting Lucy up to our Father!
Prayers as usual especially for tomorrow to go as smoothly as possible. You are more than half way there! You guys are so strong. You can do this!
ReplyDeletePraying for you tonight...for peace in your heart, whatever the morrow brings...
ReplyDeleteThanks, I was missing my daily Kate. I bet some of Ella's passion is her own way of sheltering her heart from some of how her life has changed as well. Have fun keeping up with Jack.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying as you begin another round! I know it will be hard, but just remember that God is there, knows what's going on, loves, and cares! I love you and I'm praying hard for Lucy and your family!
ReplyDeleteGO LUCY GO!!!!
Love,
Allison
I absolutely love your blog. My family's thoughts and prayers are with Lucy and your family.
ReplyDeleteAlison (www.organizedchaos-keastfamily.blogspot.com) Please check us out!!!
Saturday evening, my daughter met baby Bennett's mom from Another Ordinary Miracle at an adoption silent auction. It was through baby Bennett's blog that I found Lucy. I am convinced that God weaves our lives with threads of love that loop and knot and encircle us. We will be praying for Lucy in hopes that tomorrow will go smoothly and that she and all of you will feel the presence of Almighty God in a tangible way. Go Lucy, Go... and keep going strong!!! Cynthia
ReplyDeleteDear Lucy,
ReplyDeleteI read your story by chance while surfing and moved me, I'm sorry you suffer so much. From now on I will pray for you. And then I will send a prayer on the site of Our Lady of madjugoria. It is strong and not lose hope and faith, you're an angel and God loves you. God bless your family and be with you always.Yasmin.
