God continues to show out for Lucy and our family.  I promise to write more tomorrow but for now I wanted to report that they were able to harvest enough cells for the rest of Lucy's treatment AND she got a great report from her scans!  We have all hit the wall and are collapsing from sheer mental, emotional and physical fatigue.

And while we are more than ecstatic about our news today, we know that the battle is NOT OVER.  Everyone agrees that we still have some hurdles to overcome.  We all still have a fight ahead of us.  We will never grow weary of praying and have faith that God will continue to fight this battle with/for Lucy.  We are so thankful for the army of prayer warriors that went to war on our behalf today  Thank you.

  7. Kate, Some people might say I found your blog by chance, but I believe you know as much as I do nothing is by chance with God! I've been reading your blog for awhile now, wanting to comment, but I thought I needed to wait until I came up with the perfect words to encourage you, but I realize the only perfect anything in this world is God. So, I write these non-perfect words from my heart to yours. Jesus changed my life two years ago and now all I seem to want to do is spread His love in any way I can. Your great faith even in this unimaginable time has blown me away and you have encouraged me in my walk with our amazing Savior! Amazing how God works isn't it? Bringing complete strangers together to pray for each other! I have three boys and one little girl and I can't comprehend what you must feel . Each breath you take and tear you cry God holds in His loving arms. I pray for Lucy each night and one reason why I chose tonight to write to you,is I prayed Lucy would get to go to school for her first day and when I checked back and saw her beautiful picture, I was filled with joy, knowing God had answered our prayers. I prayed for her to have a wonderful report and like you said, God sure has shown out for Lucy!! :) We serve an amazing God and I continue to be in awe of how He shows us how much He loves us especially in the hardest of times. I strive daily not to lean on my own understanding ,knowing that His ways are not ours and He truly does work all things together for our own good for those who love the Lord! Thank you Kate for your courage and faith that God has used to inspire others (even though you may not know it or feel it, you are stronger than you know.) "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for me?" Jeremiah 32:27 Love in Christ from one mom to another- Jeannie :)
