Midnight

It's midnight. Erik is sleeping with a box of tissue for a pillow. I'm quite sure I'm delirious. Lucy just got platelets and we are waiting on Dr. W to pull her line. That should be loads of fun! This is how we party at St. Jude.

  2. Kate, I just wanted to let you know that we are lifting all of you up in prayer and will continue to storm the gates of heaven for sweet Lucy. I also sent out a prayer request to the prayer warriors among my facebook network...may the Lord give you all rest as only He can. And may hope and joy come in the morning.

  11. Hello, I came across your blog from another one & have read your story & all you are going through. Bless your hearts & bless your dear, sweet girl who is so courageous. Your posts almost always make me cry because I am a mom & a grandmother & can feel your pain. I just can't imagine going through this & I think you are handling it all with such grace, dignity, and love. Your honesty & faith is inspirational. No parents & children should ever have to go through this. It's so unfair. I have noticed how incredibly unselfish you are, always thinking of others. If there are any specific ways people can help in addition to prayer, I hope you will post them. You deserve some helping arms to help make this a little easier for you all. God bless & know so many care & are praying for your precious daughter & family. Loreen in WA state
