We are on self-imposed lock down in Lucy's room right now. We are waiting on doctors to come by and quite anxious to hear their hypotheses as to why Lucy is sick. So...while we are scared to leave the room for fear of missing a doctor I am in the process of reading 253 Facebook messages and over 1,000 blog messages.
Once again, please understand if I don't respond to your message but I guarantee I am reading them and I am blessed by each and every one. God has laid my Lucy on so many hearts and your prayers are definitely being heard. There is no other way to explain and grace and peace Erik, Lucy and I feel on a daily basis. This nightmare of ours seems to have touched many hearts, but each of you has also touched ours. Thank you again.
Kate, Your angel has certainly touched my heart! I am praying for you all and thinking of you so often during my day. We will continue to stay united in prayer until God delivers His complete victory through Lucy's total healing! Praying for you in Alabama, Lyn
ReplyDeleteKate,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for a few weeks and I have been praying for a miraculous healing for Lucy. I also have been praying for you and your family. Thank you so much for allowing us a glance into the life of your family. Lucy and her vigor and fight for life have touched my heart as has the love that your family has for each other.
Do not feel bad about not emailing or responding to comments! There are many more important things for you to be focusing on and we (the blogging community) understand that.
I will continue to lift you and your family up in prayer!

I am praying for you and your family. Not only for Lucy and your husband and other children, but for you specifically, Kate.
ReplyDeleteMy little girl was diagnosed with an intrauterine stroke at 9mths old and it took me awhile to get to my new state of normal. I truly understand the power of the Spirit of the Lord coming through the mother making a home a peaceful place in any circumstance. So Kate I am taking you on as the target of my prayers. I pray that God gives you wisdom, peace, knowledge, and comfort in this time of trial. Because your family will feel these things through you. You are in my prayers.
God Bless you,
Amber Kiddy
Lucy and your entire family, plus the doctors and nurses treating her, are in my prayers and thoughts. I have three little girls, ages 6, almost 4, and 19 months. I ache for you as a mother. May the Lord continue to wrap his arms around you and give Lucy and all of you peace, wisdom, and comfort.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with you guys. I understand that waiting game sitting in the hospital just waiting.
ReplyDeleteI just want you to know that your faith in GOD is awesome and you and your family have touched ours tremendously. I have two girls. One is almost 7 and the other is almost 2. I knew when I heard about Lucy and saw her picture that she looked very familiar. Your daughter Ella and my daughter Alaina took dance at show stars together. I remember when you and Lucy would be rushing in with Ella and she would be bare foot and in a dress or pajamas with a pacifier in her mouth. I remember thinking how adorable she looked and was always happy. I know that GOD has plans for us all and hate that Lucy had to get sick. This whole thing has brought so many people and the community together. My daughters and I and my friend and her daughter are so very supportive of you and your family and say our prayers daily that Lucy will be well asap. God Bless you all!!!
ReplyDeleteContinuing prayers of Healing!!!!!!!!!!!!
