Sweet Dreams

After my precious girl said her night-night prayers for the first time in over a week last night we all slept just a little better.  Look closely at their hands.  Daddy is making it all better.  Thank you God for a wonderful husband who is an even better father.

  1. It's a beautiful photo... You'll hold hands together through this. We'll hold hands in prayer while you do that. I loved hearing Praise You in the Storm when the page opened - that song got us through so much during our ordeal with Jack. The words just don't fade with time. May you feel some peace.

  2. Hi,
I am new to your blog, I found it by way of Kelly's Korner she mentioned your little Lucy in a prayer post. Ever since then I have been touched by your beautiful family. I have a little girl named Ella too. I am praying for sweet little lucy and I won't stop. That is one of the sweetest pictures I have ever seen. Take Care

  3. I found your blog through Kelly's Korner. I just wanted to let you know that you have another prayer warrior following your fight and parying with you along the way. Your children are beautiful. My daughter has the same flower sheets that Lucy has on her pillow. It takes my breath away every time I see them in a picture. As a mother I can't begin to imagine what you are going through. Just rememeber that when you feel too tired to fight you have thousands of people that are fighting and praying for your sweet Lucy.

  5. Kate and Erik and kids,
I wanted to share this verse with you for encouragement.

    Ephesians 3: 14-21
4 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family3 in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. "

    Praying continually for you all,
    The Pellegras

  9. Oh God, I just burst in tears. My 3-year-old daughter was sitting on my knees when I opened up your page. She saw Lucy and excitedly said, "Look! It's me!" and then immediately, pointing to Jack: "Look! It's Baby Jack [her baby brother]!" Truly, you ARE our family. I cannot stop praying for Lucy, it's overpowering. God has put her in so many hearts.
