To Clear Things Up.....

Hello Friends. After reading a few comments (mainly on Facebook), I feel as if I need to tell you all that we are NOT upset with our doctors over yesterday's mixup. Preliminary findings showed one thing and further research showed another. There are lots of doctors taking care of our Lucy and they are doing a wonderful job. We feel very blessed to have the best team of doctors in the world! Keep the prayers coming. We need them!

  4. Hi, You don't know me. I found your blog through another one. I'm from Brasil and Lucy's story touch my heart. I have a 5 year old nephew and can't even imagine what you and your family having being through. She is brave little girl and she will win this battle. I'm psychologist and worked 1 year with terminal pacients with Leukemia, and I learned that the process of healing is faster when the pacient have positives thinking. So when Lucy begin her chemo and radio tell her that this medicine are like good guys that will fight with the bad guys that are making her feel sick. And sometimes she will feel more sick during the treatment but that is the good sign because the good guys are winning. Tell her to think during the treatment, when taking the drugs that this will make her heal, that she will get better. To imagine little soldiers fighting with little monsters in her body and killing them. I'm praying for her and your family. And Please send me the adress of the hospital, Lucy's room number and her full name to put in the prayer book of my church. GO LUCY GO.

  6. Hi there. I do not know you, but a friend of mine sent out your blog information and asked us to pray. Lucy has been on my heart so much because, I too, have a little girl that just turned 5 a week before Lucy. I just cannot imagine. Your faith is so strong. We have shared your blog with every prayer warrior we know and they are sharing it with all their prayer warrior friends. We have friends praying for Lucy in many states and several countries! You can be confident that many of us will continue to pray with you through your journey.

    Love Laura (Viera FL)

  7. Girl how are we going to get these bake sale items from other states?!?! Literally I have people emailing to try to figure out how they can help or send items to the bake sale! That daughter of yours sure has touched a larger number of lives than even imaginable. Been in a church meeting all night talking about deep, deep God stuff...but it boils down to he created us to love us and for us to love him. He loves you Kate (and Erik and Lucy) and you love him even in the storms. What an inspiration you are. We love you!

  9. Hi, I have added Lucy's button to my blog and am praying for your family constantly. I can't imagine your pain. I lost my twin's in November due to prematurity and have been trying to find inspiring blogs of Christian mother's. I somehow stumbld upon your blog when reading another person's and am so incredibly sorry for the pain you and your family are facing. God is in control and is THE miracle worker. Prayers to you and your sweet little girl. You are such an inspiration.

  10. Father God,

I am lifting up Lucy and her family tonight. I pray for some restful sleep for all. Lord, I also pray for total healing for sweet Lucy. Precious Lord I pray for a hedge of protection to be placed around them.

In Jesus Name We Pray. Amen.

Sweet dreams being sent from Northern Kentucky.

  11. Kate, your appreciation and trust of Lucy's Doctor's and nurses is awesome! I am so glad they were able to find out the mistake before you had to go through with a decision! Keep trusting those Dr.'s- God put them in Lucy's treatment plan for a reason!

    Blessings!
